Forgive my ignorance (I've tried and I can't!), but how would I go about verifying the integrity of a download from Apache Lounge with the PGP signature? Where is the Private Signature, or do I need to create my own?
Please advise.
Many thanks! |

Nope, not your own.
On a download page here you have the Public PGP key: Steffen_Land.asc . This key is also on keyservers like https://keyserver2.pgp.com/ , search there for info apachelounge.com |

OK, thanks. Got that. But that is the Public Key. Where is the Private Signature? |

The public key together with the signature of the downloaded file is enough to verify. It is how it works. |
