okay,
I have found this site and so far is looks good. I have have a big issue and I hope this site can help... Yes, I'm a newbi, so maybe you can understand why i can not for the life of me find any install info on adding SSL to my Apache2... All I see in Apache.org is that only 1.3.X supports SSL while there are hints of SSL be available in biniers for 2.X.... No where and I mean no where is there any documentation on 2.X with SSL.

Can someone please point me in the right direction...
I need SSL
Can SSL work with modules in lieu of cgi
Can you set up SSL so that you do not have to use https (443) but use http(80)?

Enough SSL docu on the ASF site, see as start http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/ssl/

ASF does not have a windows binary with SSL for legacy reasons, you can download from other places like 2.2.x with SSL at the Apachelounge here.

SSL works with CGI's and can run on port 80.

Confused
Okay, I will be a regular guest here... I say guest because I cant not hope to be as good as all the people here...

I had in my mind, from all kinds of documents that mol_ssl had to be downloaded from http://modssl.org . From what I just read mod_ssl is part of the Apache2.

If this is correct all I need to do is download the OpenSSL, install and activte the mods...

I have spent days on this, Thanks for making my life better Very Happy

You have nothing to download from http://modssl.org.

Install the binary from here at the Apachelounge. All you need is included.
